Information

Welcome to Rosario's Kennels' guide to puppy care! We understand that bringing home a new puppy, especially a French or English Bulldog, comes with many questions. We're here to provide you with the information you need to ensure your new furry friend thrives.

Welcoming Your Puppy Home

Congratulations on your new best friend! Whether you’ve brought home a French Bulldog or an English Bulldog from Rosario’s Kennels, we’re here to support you with everything you need to know to give your pup the best start in life.

Puppy Setup at Home

Create a safe, cozy space like a crate or puppy pen where they can rest undisturbed. Use a comfy bed, safe chew toys, and keep food & water easily accessible. Bulldog puppies love routines — feeding and potty time should be consistent.

Feeding Your Bulldog Puppy

To keep your English or French Bulldog puppy healthy and strong, we recommend a high-quality, grain-inclusive puppy food formulated for medium breeds. Choose a kibble with real meat as the first ingredient, balanced calcium and phosphorus, and DHA. Feed 3–4 small meals a day, and always provide fresh water. Avoid table scraps, as Bulldogs have sensitive stomachs.

Training Tips for Success

French and English Bulldogs are smart, loving, and full of personality — but they can also be a little stubborn! Start training early and keep it positive, using treats and praise. Keep sessions short (5-10 minutes) and stick to a routine. Socialization is essential, but avoid harsh discipline.

Health & Vet Care

Stick to your vaccination and deworming schedule. Watch for signs of respiratory issues, skin allergies, or overheating. Always schedule a first vet visit within 72 hours of bringing your puppy home.
